MUMBAI – Leading global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) India has announced the appointment of Saurabh Kumar Sahu as Managing Director within its Business Transformation Services practice. Based in Mumbai, he will focus on helping clients accelerate growth, drive commercial excellence and deliver large-scale business transformations, including digital and AI-led initiatives.
Mr. Sahu has over two decades of experience in business advisory, growth strategy, commercial excellence and large-scale digital and AI-led transformations. He has worked extensively with leading organisations across automotive, telecommunications, media, hi-tech and Global Capability Centre (GCC) sectors in India, the US and UK. His experience includes driving market share growth for a leading automotive company, delivering digital transformation and business growth initiatives for a major telecom operator, and leading AI-led EBITDA improvement initiatives in the cement sector.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Sahu was Senior Managing Director and Country Head at Accenture India, where his most recent role involved leading the firm’s operations across consulting, technology and operations. Over the course of his tenure, he held several senior leadership positions with significant P&L and client responsibilities, including leading the Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) industry business. He also played a key role in establishing Accenture India’s AI business, bringing together deep industry expertise and technology capabilities to drive business transformation.
