Justdial Limited, India’s No. 1 local search engine, has reported a notable rise in consumer searches across astrology and spiritual service categories. The analysis compares search volumes between April 2024–March 2025 and April 2025–March 2026, indicating a growing consumer shift towards seeking guidance, clarity, and holistic well-being in everyday decision-making.
At a national level, Spiritual Healing Services recorded the highest growth at 64%, highlighting an increasing focus on emotional balance, mindfulness, and alternative healing practices. Meanwhile, searches for Vastu Shastra Consultants grew by 25% across India, signalling a rising preference for energy alignment within living and working spaces. Delhi emerged as a key driver with a sharp 61% increase, followed by Pune at 22% and Mumbai at 21%, indicating strong traction in urban centres where lifestyle and spatial design are increasingly intertwined.
In parallel, Tarot Reading Services saw a 23% increase nationally. Delhi led the category with a 34% rise, while Mumbai recorded a 5% increase, pointing towards a steady but varied adoption across regions. Additionally, interest in Numerology Services grew by 13% pan-India, with Delhi witnessing a significant 48% surge.
Searches for Astrologers also rose by 10% across India, reflecting consistent demand for traditional forms of guidance. Among key cities, Mumbai and Jaipur led with a 14% increase each, followed by Ahmedabad at 12%, while Delhi and Kolkata recorded a 10% rise and Hyderabad saw a 9% increase, highlighting widespread and steady interest across metros and emerging cities.
The data indicates a broader shift in consumer behaviour, where traditional belief systems are increasingly being integrated into modern lifestyles, with individuals turning to astrology and related services for guidance and balance.
