On the onset of International Women’s Day, Apollo Cradle & Children’ hospital and Apollo Clinic announces the next step of its ongoing health awareness campaign #CheckForChange. Specifically designed to inspire women under the age of 50 to transition from reactive to proactive healthcare. The campaign aims to dismantle the barriers of neglect and “health secondary” mindsets, encouraging regular screenings as a fundamental pillar of a balanced life and early detection.
The data underscores a silent crisis in women’s health globally. According to industry reports, 2 in 3 deaths among women are caused by non-communicable diseases yet a staggering majority continue to forgo regular preventive health check-ups. This neglecting behavior often results in the delayed detection of conditions—such as hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, and lifestyle-related disorders—that are effectively manageable when identified early.
“For many women, especially those balancing burgeoning careers and family stability, personal health often takes a backseat to the needs of others,” said Mr. Nishant Mishra, Chief Marketing Officer, at Apollo Health and Lifestyle. “Our goal this International Women’s Day is to provide a firm reminder: prioritizing routine screenings is not merely advisable; it is imperative. A proactive approach to healthcare safeguards not only your long-term well-being but also the security of those who rely on you.”
The campaign highlights critical areas where timely intervention is essential. This includes hormonal & lifestyle transitions that addresses the physiological shifts that occur in the 20s, 30s, and 40s and beyond. It also highlights ways to combat widespread deficiencies that impact daily energy and long-term immunity. Apart from this the campaign also focuses on early detection of chronic conditions utilizing advanced diagnostics to identify risks.
The campaign seeks to shift this perception by framing regular testing as an act of empowerment and stability rather than a response to illness. Throughout the month of March, both the brands will facilitate specialized screening packages and educational forums across its network. The initiative serves as a direct invitation for women to “Choose Prevention” and “Choose Proactive Care,” ensuring that the foundation of their future remains secure.
