In Assam, 8 persons killed in a road accident at Udalguri district. Senior police officials said that the incident occurred at Gelabil late last night when the ill-fated vehicle hit a truck from the backside on national highway.
All the 8 passengers travelling in the vehicle died on the spot. They were returning home after attending a marriage party at Baihata Chariali.
