(AU SFB), has emerged as a significant livelihood platform in Rajasthan, Over the last seven years, AU Ignite has trained over 12,000 youth and enabled over 7,500successful placements, consistently achieving placement assistance of over 77%.
The initiative has focused on aligning skill development with real industry demand, ensuring that training outcomes translate into sustainable employment opportunities rather than short term job placements.
A strong focus on women’s workforce participation has been a defining pillar of AU Ignite’s impact. Since its inception, the programme has trained over 4,000, female candidates, with 2,500+ successfully placed. These outcomes underline AU Ignite’s role in enabling economic independence and career entry for women across diverse socio economic backgrounds in the State.
What began in 2018 as a small pilot project in Jaipur’s C Scheme area with just 82 trainees has grown into a structured, job-oriented skill development platform. Today, AU Ignite delivers NSQF aligned training programmes across sectors including BFSI, IT ITES, Tourism & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, Telecom and Retail, supplemented by employability skills such as professional grooming, English communication and computer proficiency.
FY 2025–26 marked a milestone year for AU Ignite Jaipur. During the year, the Centre trained 2,363 youth and secured placements for over 1,106 candidates across BFSI, IT ITES, Media & Entertainment, and Tourism & Hospitality. Placement quality also improved, with candidates securing annual packages ranging from ₹2.8 lakh to ₹4.2 lakh for entry level jobs whereas 6 lakhs to 9.5 lakh for higher order jobs in companies such as Infosys, PWC, Deloitte among others. The average monthly salary stood at ₹14,270, while the highest monthly salary exceeded ₹40,000.
AU Ignite further strengthened industry linkage through two large scale Rojgar Melas held in November 2025 and February 2026, featuring 30+ participating companies that interviewed over 1,000 candidates. These drives reinforced AU Ignite’s role as a comprehensive employment ecosystem connecting youth directly with employers.
Sanjay Agarwal, Founder, MD & CEO, AU Small Finance Bank, said ” India’s demographic dividend will only become a reality if we skill our youth with purpose and urgency. AU Ignite was built on this belief, equipping young people from underserved communities with job-ready skills in high-growth sectors like BFSI, Healthcare, Tourism, and IT. This includes courses in AI, Full Stack Development, and Salesforce that make our youth future-ready and equipped to compete and contribute to an increasingly digital world. When a first-generation earner secures employment, it transforms not just one life but an entire household. This is how AU contributes to Viksit Bharat, not through intent alone, but through measurable, ground-level impact.”
One of the initiative’s most notable success areas has been the hospitality sector, particularly the Guest Service Associate (GSA) programme. Responding to strong domestic and global demand, AU Ignite has trained 800+ hospitality candidates, with 580+ placements recorded. In a landmark achievement, selected trainees have secured placements with international five star hotel chains and cruise lines, earning monthly packages ranging from ₹1 lakh to ₹1.3 lakh, alongside continued placements with leading luxury hotel brands across India.
As AU Ignite enters its next phase, the focus remains on scalable impact, industry aligned skilling, and aspirational career pathways, reinforcing its position as a meaningful contributor to Rajasthan’s employability and socio economic development.
