Banita Sandhu has always be that girl. Having major fashion moments, shuttling between India and London, bringing her love for global styles back home, her recent outing for the 12th edition of the GQ Most Influential Young Indians 2026 that took place showed just that.
The actor, who had a major breakthrough role in Bridgerton and has acted in movies such as October (2018), Sardar Udham (2021) and Adithya Varma (2019), decided to dare to bare. Banita Sandhu took a bold route with her style choices.
The base of the 28-year-old actor’s ensemble was a mint-green mini dress with a net-like texture. She wore this off-the-runway outfit by Acne Studios from its Spring/Summer 2026 couture lines. Their designs have been worn by the likes of Chappell Roan, Rosanna Arquette, brand ambassador NCT JOHNNY, Tiakola, Jordan Hemingway, Leslie Bibb, Nimay Ndolo and Peggy Gou. With a round neck and a form-fitting silhouette, the dress was simple enough on its own. However, she added a flowy knee-length sheer skirt that added some fluid, feminine energy to the outfit.
Banita Sandhu wore a mint green belt with silver studs at her waist and threw on a matching oversized blazer over the fit. Adding some depth to the blazer were shadowy black lines that gave this look a grunge vibe.
The actor, who has been seen in films like Eternal Beauty (2019) and Mother Teresa & Me (2023), added some pops of black accents via her accessories. She carried a chunky black handbag with silver hardware and wore loafer wedge heels.
The Detective Sherdil (2025) actor wore her hair in old-school Hollywood curls with tight ringlets. She also kept the professional-grade hair clips in her hair to add to the cool, funky vibes. For her makeup, she leaned into the grunge look with a grey smoky eye and winged eyeliner. A glossy brown lip over a thick brown lipliner completed Banita Sandhu’s look.
