Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC, the Indian Super League champions of the 2018/19 season and two-time I-League champions, today announced their partnership renewal with StepOut, a leading sports technology company, for the third consecutive year. Under the partnership, StepOut is the club’s Official Performance Analysis Partner.
StepOut’s AI-powered ecosystem is currently used by top European clubs and their academies like Real Madrid and Ajax FC, as well as national football federations like the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and Football Queensland, among others. This system will also be fully integrated across BFC’s youth setup, including the BFC Soccer Schools, through its Young Blues Elite programme and Reserve Teams. The partnership will help Bengaluru FC identify promising talent from across the country and give young players the tools and insights they need to develop their game. Through advanced data analytics and performance tracking, StepOut will support BFC in strengthening team performance and competing at the highest level throughout the season.
The partnership positions BFC at the forefront of youth development in India. Insights from StepOut’s technology will allow BFC to tailor training programmes to each player’s individual needs, building a pipeline of talent ready to compete on the global stage. It reflects BFC’s continued commitment to excellence and its vision of nurturing the next generation of Indian football.
Using StepOut as a tool, it helps the coaches to identify key markers of development to help them make better player assessments, providing them with greater clarity in understanding the potential of the team and helping them to streamline the processes better.
