Bengaluru Set to Witness History as Akshar Yoga Kendraa Set to Attempt for 21 Guinness World Records on International Day of Yoga 2026

Bengaluru : International Day of Yoga 2026 is set to be celebrated on an unprecedented scale as Akshar Yoga Kendraa prepares to host one of the world’s most ambitious and inspiring Yoga Day events in Bengaluru on June 21. In a remarkable tribute to the 21st International Day of Yoga, the organisation will attempt 21 Guinness World Records in a single day, creating a historic milestone in the global yoga movement.

The grand celebration is expected to attract more than 5,000 participants from India and around the world, joining both online and offline to take part in a unique showcase of yoga, discipline, endurance, and human potential. The record attempts will be led by renowned yoga master and spiritual leader Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar, Founder of Akshar Yoga Kendraa, who has previously guided multiple successful world-record initiatives.

Aligned with this year’s International Day of Yoga theme, “Yoga for Healthy Ageing,” the event aims to highlight the transformative role of yoga in promoting longevity, vitality, and holistic wellbeing. Special sessions and demonstrations will focus on empowering senior citizens with simple yet effective yoga practices, breathing techniques, meditation, and spiritual disciplines designed to support healthy ageing and improve quality of life.
