Both the Houses of Parliament were adjourned for the day on an opening day today of the Winter Session after making obituary references to their members who passed away during the intersession.
They included former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee and former Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar, who was a sitting member.
