Mark International Jazz Day with an evening dedicated to the spirit of improvisation and musical storytelling at The Piano Man, New Delhi. Presented in collaboration with NOLA New Orleans & Company, the night pays tribute to jazz as the “universal language of freedom,” bringing together global influences and exceptional artistry under one roof.
The performance is led by pianist, composer, and founder of The Piano Man Jazz Club, Arjun Sagar Gupta, known for his evocative style and deep-rooted understanding of jazz. Joining him is an impressive international ensemble featuring Canadian vocalist Alyse Pascoe, American saxophonist Ryan Cerrone, and Indian saxophonist Aniket Chaturvedi. The rhythm section is anchored by Mohan Kumar on bass and Aditya Bhagavatula on drums, promising a dynamic and immersive musical experience.
Expect an evening of reimagined jazz classics, spontaneous improvisation, and seamless collaboration as these artists come together to create a rich, genre-spanning soundscape.
