Bengaluru : Chins Bar, Coffee & Kitchen is set to open on Lavelle Road, Bengaluru, bringing a 400-seater destination across three floors that captures the city’s seamless transition from day to night. An evolution of Chinlung, Chins brings together coffee, food, beer, cocktails, spirits and music in an all-day setting designed to adapt to the city’s changing rhythms. From morning coffee and relaxed dining to evening drinks, music and late-night gatherings, the space offers a versatile setting for different occasions throughout the day.
Soon to be open from 11 am to 1 am, Chins will introduce breakfast after its first month of operations, extending its hours to 8 am to 1 am. The all-day format is built around the idea of a destination that changes with the pace of the day, offering distinct spaces for coffee, food and drinks under one roof.
Spread across three floors, the venue gives each level its own character. The ground floor houses the coffee bar, offering a setting for everything from a quick caffeine stop to a leisurely brew or catch-up. The first floor is dedicated to the kitchen and dining, with a menu suited to casual meals and longer conversations. The third floor houses the bar, bringing a more energetic atmosphere to evenings with cocktails, beer, music and socialising.
The food menu draws from a range of cuisines, bringing together sushi, dim sum and bao alongside Asian favourites, Indian grills, coastal preparations, pizzas, pastas and comforting mains. Highlights include Sesame Greens, Burrata Ponzu Salad, Ponzu Butter Dimsum, Mushroom Katsu Bao, Thai Chilli Prawns and Bengali Five Spice Chicken. Indian offerings include Ghee Roast, Chicken Sukka and Coastal Prawn Curry, giving the menu a broad appeal across different dining preferences and occasions.
Coffee is a central part of the daytime offering, with the Victoria Arduino Eagle One NEO at the heart of the coffee bar. Custom-crafted in white with warm wooden accents to complement the venue’s bar and coffee aesthetic, the machine is engineered in Italy and uses NEO technology for precision extraction, with a focus on reducing energy consumption and waste.
The equipment supports the coffee programme throughout the day, from morning flat whites to late-night Espresso Martinis, allowing baristas to bring out the flavour notes of the beans with precision. As the day progresses, the bar takes centre stage with cocktails, spirits and beer. The cocktail programme focuses on distinctive yet approachable drinks designed to complement the food, music and overall atmosphere.
Adding a playful element to the destination is Finding Chins, a concept built around discovery. The Chins mascot appears across the venue through hidden graphics, illustrations, mirrors and objects, giving guests details to spot and discover over multiple visits. The idea brings an interactive layer to the space, encouraging visitors to look beyond the immediate dining and drinking experience.
Speaking about the opening, Prajwal Lokesh, Managing Director, Chins Bar, Coffee & Kitchen, said, “Chinlung has grown alongside Bengaluru, and the community we have built over the years means the most to us. With Chins, we wanted to carry that spirit forward while creating a contemporary all-day destination for coffee, food, cocktails and evenings with friends. It is an evolution of Chinlung, with a thoughtfully curated cocktail programme and an experience we hope people will make their own and return to time and again.”
With its combination of coffee, an expansive food menu, a dedicated bar and the Finding Chins concept, Chins Bar, Coffee & Kitchen brings a new all-day format to Lavelle Road, designed to move from daytime dining to evening socialising within the same destination.
