BRAINTREE, NORTH ANDOVER, MA: The Peabody Companies (www.wearepeabody.com), a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms now celebrating its 50th anniversary, is pleased to announce that Cindy Rivera of North Andover, Massachusetts has been awarded a New England Past President’s Scholarship by the Boston Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) to pursue a Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation.

The New England Past President’s Scholarship encourages education and industry knowledge by assisting recipients with the cost of tuition associated with earning an IREM credential.

Rivera joined The Peabody Companies in April of 2017 and is the operations quality assurance manager for Peabody communities.

The scholarship award will cover a significant portion of the tuition associated with earning her CPM. The designation is considered one of the leading credentials in public sector property management and is earned after completing a selected set of competencies.

“Congratulations to Cindy not only for receiving the IREM scholarship but also for taking another professional step in her chosen industry,” said Erin Simas, learning and development manager with The Peabody Companies.
