India — The Department of Management Studies at the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, organized an impactful workshop on “Gender Sensitization” today at the CAT Hall, starting at 11:00 AM. The initiative brought together students, researchers, and faculty members to cultivate an inclusive, equitable, and empathetic academic environment.
The workshop was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Kumar Sanjay Sawarni, Head of the Department of Management Studies, who served as the Chairman of the workshop. The session was graced by Dr. Shraddha Shivani as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Sujata Priyambada Dash, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies, served as the Coordinator for the event.
The primary technical sessions were delivered by the designated Resource Person, Mr. Shyam Kumar, Co-founder and Director of DEVNET NGO, Ranchi. The event wrapped up with a dynamic Q&A session where attendees evaluated managerial case studies, followed by a formal vote of thanks delivered by the coordinator, Dr. Sujata Priyambada Dash.
