Eggoz, India’s first egg brand built on a complete traceable model, a farmer-first approach, and high nutrition density, is answering a question that has long gone unanswered in the egg aisle where did this egg actually come from, and can I trust how it was produced? With the launch of “Farm & Fable by Eggoz” Free Range Eggs, every batch can now be traced back to its source.
At the heart of the offering is Eggoz’s traceability model. Each pack carries a batch code that consumers can track on the Eggoz website under the “Know Your Eggs” section, opening a window into how the egg was produced where the egg came from, who the farmer is, ethical farm practices, curated veg feed paired with natural forage, collaboration with experienced countryside farmers, a technology-integrated farmer model, and external lab test reports of the particular farm’s eggs. It turns what has long been a matter of blind trust into something households can verify for themselves.
The launch comes amid rising consumer awareness around traceability to the origin, animal welfare, and clean-label nutrition in India, particularly among households looking for greater transparency in how their food is produced. As free range and naturally reared eggs become a growing preference among conscious consumers, Eggoz is meeting the demand not just with a premium product, but with proof. The product is launched in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune, followed by a planned expansion to Delhi NCR, Hyderabad and other Tier-1 cities across leading quick commerce. Backed by automated grading technology, UV sanitization, weight screening, and minimal human handling at its processing centres, the company aims to deliver consistent sizing, hygiene, and quality across every pack.
Commenting on the launch, Abhishek Negi, Co-Founder & CEO, Eggoz, said, “At Eggoz, we have always believed that how an egg is produced matters just as much as the egg itself. With Farm & Fable by Eggoz Free Range Eggs, we are bringing consumers eggs from hens raised the way nature intended—but more importantly, we are giving them the ability to trace it, verify it, and trust it. As Indian households become more mindful about the origins and quality of their food, we see strong and growing demand for transparency they can actually check for themselves.”
Eggoz believes the next phase of India’s food consumption will be shaped by conscious, transparent, and ethically produced choices. Free-range eggs continue to gain preference among consumers who value both nutrition and responsible sourcing, and Eggoz aims to make this premium choice accessible, trustworthy, and above all traceable for households across the country.
