Excitel Turns Profitable in FY’26, Reports INR 530 Crore Revenue

New Delhi – Excitel Broadband, India’s fourth-largest fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) broadband network, has turned profitable in FY’26, recording INR 530 crore in revenue and INR 40 crore in profit, translating to 8% PAT profitability. The milestone was driven by growth in its fiber broadband and IPTV subscriber base, along with improved operational efficiencies.

The company recorded INR 517 crore in revenue in FY’25 with an EBITDA of INR 35 crore. In FY’26, EBITDA improved significantly to INR 73 crore, reflecting a sharp 200%+ increase in bottom-line performance. The subscriber base remained steady at over 1 million users, consistent with the previous year.

Highlighting this milestone, Varun Pasricha, CEO of Excitel, said, “This is an important milestone for Excitel and it reflects the years of focus, hard work, and commitment with which we have built the business. This has been a dramatic shift in the earnings profile of the company, from losses in 2023, to becoming EBITDA positive in early 2025, and now being both EBITDA and PAT positive. It reassures our belief that by focusing on what our customers truly need, reliable broadband and IPTV, we can make a real difference. This gives us the stability to continue improving our technology, enhancing the customer experience, and deepening our presence in our core markets.”

Looking ahead, Excitel expects to maintain growth momentum in FY’27 through deeper market penetration, stronger operational efficiency, and increased adoption of value-added services. The company will continue focusing on improving network experience, enhancing customer engagement, and expanding its IPTV ecosystem to cater to evolving digital consumption patterns.

With broadband and digital entertainment growing steadily in India, Excitel aims to strengthen its position as a provider of affordable, high-speed internet and home entertainment solutions across urban and emerging markets.
