Kolkata — Flutrr, the Indian dating app, today announced a leadership transition designed to support its next phase of growth across product, brand, operations and governance. The platform is focused on focused on serious relationships and meaningful connections.
Kaushik Banerjee has been appointed Managing Director as part of the new structure. He will guide Flutrr’s long-term vision, strategic direction and overall organisational growth in his new role. Anirban Banerjee will serve as the Chief Executive Officer. He will lead the company’s strategic and operational execution.

The restructuring also expands Flutrr’s senior leadership team with clearly defined functional ownership. Anchita Kaushik come in as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Hitesh Bhansali as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), strengthening the company’s finance and governance capabilities. Ankit Santra, elevated to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), and Sougata De, appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO), will work closely with the Interim CEO to advance brand growth, product development and technology innovation.
The leadership changes come at a time when Flutrr is sharpening its position in India’s dating and relationships category. The platform has consistently positioned itself to be for users who are looking for compatibility, trust and intent over casual swiping. It highlights a multilingual experience built for Indian users, with support for up to 16 Indian languages. It also has verification-led onboarding, AI-assisted matchmaking and privacy-first product features.
That positioning has helped Flutrr build a differentiated Bharat-focused identity in an otherwise crowded market. The company has constantly emphasized accessibility for users outside the English-first dating ecosystem. Flutrr maintains that its features are designed to improve comfort and confidence in online dating. Flutrr’s product story has increasingly centered on making digital dating feel more local, more relevant and more intentional, thus building on user trust, safety and clarity.
Flutrr’s growth has also been supported by strategic funding. The company raised INR 4 crore in 2023 from investors including The Times of India Group and The Chennai Angels. In 2024, Flutrr announced a further INR 3.75 crore investment from Zee Media, with additional media coverage linking the platform to backing from actor Huma Qureshi and other senior corporate leaders.
