Ahmadabad: Gujarat recorded 1,221 new Corona cases during the last 24 hours. Total 1 lakh 30 thousand 897 patients recovered from Covid-19 so far in the state. The recovery rate has reached up to 87.02 percent.
The total cases detected so far in Gujarat have crossed the 1 lakh 50 thousand mark. 1456 patients recovered during the last 24 hours. More than 49 lakh 61 thousand tests have been carried out in the state till date, out of which 51288 tests were carried out yesterday. Maximum 252 new cases reported from Surat, while Ahmedabad recorded 176 new cases. At present total active cases in the state are 15958, out of which 81 patients are on ventilator. 10 patients died yesterday taking the total deaths due to Covid19 up to 3560. Meanwhile, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has added 13 new areas in the micro containment zone following detection of new cases.
