Kolkata: The Heritage Group of Institutions observed the 79th Independence Day with deep respect for the sacrifices of the past and renewed commitment to shaping the India of tomorrow. The day began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by inspiring speeches and heartfelt cultural performances that paid tribute to the nation’s journey from struggle to strength.
Shri Vikram Swarup, Vice Chairman, Heritage Group of Institutions, inspired the audience to think beyond boundaries:
“Our freedom gives us the strength to dream, but it is our vision and action that will shape India’s destiny. Let us be fearless in our ambitions for the nation.”
Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology, celebrated India’s achievements:
“From space exploration to technological leadership, India has shown the world what perseverance can achieve. We must ensure this momentum never fades.”
Shri Probir Roy, Director, Kalyan Bharti Trust, called for purpose-driven action:
“The legacy we have inherited was forged in sacrifice. Our responsibility is to honour it by contributing meaningfully to society, each and every day.”
