Kolkata: 5 student teams from Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK) has been selected for the Grand Finale at the Smart India Hackathon 2024. The Grand Finale will be organized on 11th-12th December 2024 at Mangalore.
The students teams who were selected are SignWave (a web software for visually challenged and hearing impaired people), Paradox Innovator ( A web software for Earth Monitoring System), Connexus ( a web app for Mentor Connect), Krishi Sahayak ( a web software for the farmers to detect crop diseases and also can be used for poultry and animal husbandry), and The Enigma ( a web software which works on Blockchain to keep documents secured in one place).
Also another two teams are in the waiting list namely TryVelix ( a document security software) and Nirvana Health Chain ( a web software for managing supply chain for wholesalers and retailers in health and pharmacy sectors).
“We wish all the best to the teams who had made it to the Grand Finale after rigorous elimination rounds,” said Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Principal, Heritage Institute of Technology.
“Smart India Hackathon is an excellent platform where the students can showcase their innovative projects. I am sure the students of HITK had done really well. Also the Hack Heritage 2024, the internal hackathon organized by our Institute had helped them a lot to reach to the Grand Finale,” said Mr. Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions, Kolkata.
