The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange warning for heavy to very heavy rainfall over Madhya Pradesh till tomorrow. Heavy rainfall is also expected over Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Western Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and the northeastern part of the country for the day. The Met Department said that thunderstorms and lightning conditions will continue over Jammu-Kashmir, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands till tomorrow. Furthermore, IMD has forecast a spell of light rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning at a few places in Delhi towards night today.
