Introducing Apollo Health Check on Wheels

Bengaluru: Apollo Hospitals, one of the leading healthcare chains in the country, has launched Apollo Health Check on Wheels to take preventive healthcare right up to your doorstep. The mobile healthcare platform is designed to deliver comprehensive health checks directly to workplaces, gated communities, associations and more.

On June 15, in front of numerous dignitaries, the Apollo Health Check on Wheels program was introduced in Aroghya Soudha, Bangalore. This initiative’s primary goal is to identify, treat, and prevent non-communicable diseases in the best way possible for the general population. It also aims to reach out to the public for early detection, treatment, and prevention at their convenience.

India has been grappling with the formidable challenge of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity for the past two decades. According to Apollo’s Health of the Nation 2024 report, these conditions are on the rise with alarming statistics: 2 out of 3 people are pre-hypertensive, 1 out of 3 are pre-diabetic, and 1 in 10 have uncontrolled diabetes. Additionally, 3 out of 4 people are overweight or obese. Regular and timely health checks are essential in preventing and managing these conditions.

The AHC on Wheels bus is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by well-trained healthcare professionals to conduct a wide range of health tests.
