Thiruvananthapuram: ‘Ananthotsavam’ – The 80th anniversary of Indian People’s Theatre Association-IPTA will be celebrated on May 25, 2023 under the auspices of the Thiruvananthapuram District Committee. Ananthotsavam will be a visual feast that combines various traditional art forms, dramas, folk songs, dances etc.
Former chief secretary and poet K. Jayakumar IAS will inaugurate the festival. Baiju Chandran, former Deputy Director of Doordarshan Kendra and State Vice President of IPTA, will deliver the key- note address. Actor Sudhir Karamana, Deputy Speaker Chittayam Gopakumar, actor and director Madhupal, actor Jobi, screen play writer Krishna Pujapura, ministers and other renowned personalities will participate in Ananthotsavam. IPTA District President NK Kishore and Secretary Adv. M. Salahudeen informed that senior artists in the district will be felicitated in the festival.
