Justice Uma Nath Singh will take oath as the First Lokayukta of Nagaland today. Governor PB Acharya will administer the oath of office to Justice Singh at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan in Kohima at 6:30 in the evening.
Justice Singh is a former Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court. He will hold the office of the Lokayukta of Nagaland for a term of five years or till he attains the age of 70.
