KFON Crosses 15,000 Connections in Ernakulam

Kochi : KFON has crossed the 15,000-connection milestone in Ernakulam, marking a significant expansion of affordable and reliable broadband access across the district. The growing adoption of KFON among households, offices, commercial establishments and government institutions highlights the increasing demand for high-speed internet services.

Ernakulam currently has 15,135 KFON connections, including 11,810 residential (FTTH) connections. As part of KFON’s efforts to promote inclusive digital access, 993 connections have been provided to economically weaker sections (EWS) in the district.

With affordable plans offering high-speed and reliable internet services, KFON is playing an important role in strengthening Ernakulam’s digital infrastructure. The expanding residential broadband network, along with services extended to businesses, institutions and government establishments, is enabling more people to access digital services, information and opportunities.

The expansion of KFON services across the district is supported by its extensive optical fibre network and the active participation of Local Network Operators. By extending internet access to underserved communities and government institutions, KFON continues to contribute to the State Government’s vision of a digitally empowered Kerala and advance digital inclusion at the grassroots level.

Residents can register for a new KFON residential connection through the ‘Ente KFON’ mobile app or the KFON website. Registrations can also be made by calling the toll-free number 1800 570 4466.
