Kitty Su Beauty Presents The Battle Royale II: India’s Premier Drag Performance Competition Returns as Kitty Su Unveils a Bold New Era of Beauty & Nightlife

New Delhi  :  After more than fifteen years of redefining nightlife, championing self-expression and creating one of India’s most iconic queer cultural movements, Kitty Su enters its most transformative chapter yet. On 22 August 2026, Kitty Su Beauty officially makes its debut as India’s first queer-led beauty brand, expanding the Kitty Su universe beyond nightlife and into beauty, fashion and culture.

The landmark unveiling takes place at The Crystal Ballroom, The LaLiT New Delhi, where Kitty Su Beauty Presents The Battle Royale II will serve as both the official launch of the brand’s debut lipstick collection and the biggest edition yet of India’s premier drag performance competition. More than a product launch or a performance showcase, the evening celebrates the evolution of Kitty Su into a movement where beauty meets nightlife, artistry and unapologetic self-expression.

Beginning with its first lipstick collection, Kitty Su Beauty will continue to expand into a larger beauty portfolio, carrying forward the values that have defined Kitty Su for over a decade, individuality, inclusivity, confidence and fearless creativity.

Five Editions. One Growing Legacy.

While titled The Battle Royale II, the event represents the fifth chapter in the Battle Royale story.

The journey began during Kitty Su’s landmark 14th Kittyversary in New Delhi with the inaugural Battle Royale before evolving into the Battle Royale Halftime Show in Delhi. The competition then travelled across the country with the Mumbai Edition at Kitty Su and the Bengaluru Edition at Kitty Ko, establishing itself as India’s leading platform dedicated to drag excellence.

Each edition has discovered remarkable performers while creating a national stage where drag artists from across India compete, collaborate and celebrate queer performance culture.

This year’s edition brings together winners, fan favourites and rising stars from across the country for the most competitive Battle Royale to date.

India’s Biggest Lip-Sync Showdown

Inspired by the world’s most celebrated drag competitions while proudly rooted in Indian drag culture, The Battle Royale II is a high-energy lip-sync championship where contestants battle through multiple elimination rounds before two finalists face one another for the ultimate title.

Each performance will be judged on charisma, lip-sync precision, creativity, storytelling, stage presence, and overall performance impact.

Just when audiences believe the competition has reached its climax, Battle Royale introduces an unexpected twist: a mystery wildcard entrant who will dramatically change the course of the championship and challenge the finalists for a place in the ultimate showdown.

An Iconic Line-Up

Returning as Emcee is Betta Naan Stop, one of India’s most celebrated drag artists and the creative force who has helped shape Battle Royale since its inception.

The judging panel features:

●            Zeesh

●            Lush Monsoon

●            Rakhi Sawant

Voices Behind the Movement

Speaking about the relaunch, Keshav Suri, Executive Director, The LaLiT Suri Hospitality Group, said:

“From day one, Kitty Su has been about people owning their identity, walking into a room and simply being, without fear, without judgement, without having to explain themselves. That’s how it became a movement of hope for my community, one night, one performance, one person at a time. With Kitty Su Beauty, we’re building on that legacy in a new way, extending that same freedom into beauty and self-expression. It’s more than a launch for me. It’s my way of giving back to my queens, who made Kitty Su what it is today.

As India’s first queer-led beauty brand, we want to create products that celebrate individuality while continuing to build experiences that bring people together. Launching Kitty Su Beauty alongside The Battle Royale II feels incredibly meaningful because both celebrate confidence, creativity, and the transformative power of self-expression.”

Cyril Feuillebois – Founder, Kitty Su Beauty

“KittySu Beauty has been years in the making. It was born from the same spirit that built KittySu—a place where individuality, drag artistry and unapologetic self-expression have always belonged. Keshav and I built this dream conversation by conversation, night by night, and seeing it finally come to life feels incredibly special.

Launching India’s first queer-led beauty brand during Battle Royale II felt like the perfect way to begin this chapter. The competition has always celebrated some of the country’s most fearless drag artists and the creativity, talent and resilience that define our community, so there couldn’t have been a more meaningful stage for our first reveal.

This brand belongs to everyone who’s ever found confidence through makeup, performance or simply by embracing who they are. For so many people, KittySu was the first place where they felt seen without explanation, celebrated without judgment and free to exist exactly as they are. If KittySu Beauty can carry even a fraction of that feeling into someone’s everyday life, then we’ve created something far more meaningful than makeup. To me, that’s what acceptance, creativity and community have always been about—not just giving people a place to belong, but reminding them they always deserved to.”

Hash Brownie

“I’ve spent years doing makeup on myself and other artists, so I knew exactly how I wanted these products to feel. Every formula had to perform under stage lights, survive long nights, and still feel effortless enough for everyday wear. That balance became the foundation of KittySu Beauty. More than anything, I wanted to create makeup that gives people the confidence to express themselves without ever feeling like they have to fit into someone else’s idea of beauty.”

Betta Naan Stop, Emcee and Curator, said:

“From the very beginning, our dream was to build India’s own drag lip-sync battle—a platform that could celebrate the incredible talent within our community while creating opportunities that simply didn’t exist before. Watching Battle Royale grow from one competition in Delhi into a national platform travelling across cities has been incredibly emotional. This year’s edition is our biggest, most ambitious and most exciting yet.”

Judge Zeesh added:

“Battle Royale has become one of the country’s most exciting drag platforms because it rewards originality just as much as technical excellence. Every performer brings a completely different perspective, and that’s what makes judging this competition so exciting year after year.”

Velvet Vortex said:

“Winning Battle Royale Mumbai changed everything for me. Returning to compete on this national stage is both an honour and a challenge, and I can’t wait to show everyone how much I’ve grown.”

Noor Sins shared:

“Being part of the House of Sins comes with both pride and responsibility. We have a legacy within Battle Royale, and I’m excited to carry that story forward while creating one of my own.”

Miss Bhenji added:

“The audience should expect glamour, laughter and complete madness. I’m here to entertain, surprise and hopefully leave everyone wanting more.”

Trixie Prema concluded:

“Winning Battle Royale Bengaluru gave me confidence beyond anything I imagined. Now I’m ready to represent my city on the biggest Battle Royale stage yet.”
