Hyderabad : Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company Ltd. (“Kotak Life”) today declared a bonus of ₹1,398 crore for 7.7 lakh participating policyholders, an 18.7% increase over last year, marking 25 consecutive years of bonus payouts.
The company also announced a claim settlement ratio of 99.50%* for individual claims and 99.80%* for group claims for FY 2025–26. During the year, Kotak Life has paid a total of ₹2,009 crore across 1,52,860 claims, covering both individual and group segments.

Our focus is on ensuring that claims are settled efficiently and that policyholders see consistent long-term value through bonuses year after year. A key focus area for Kotak Life has been improving turnaround times, with 84% of the eligible claims settled within one working day of receiving all required documents, helping families access funds without delay.
This strong focus on timely claim settlement and delivering consistent value is reflected in Kotak Life’s customer satisfaction scores. The company ranked 2nd# in the Hansa Research Life Insurance Customer Experience Study (CuES) 2026#, with a Net Promoter Score of 60%, demonstrating strong customer advocacy.
