*KWA and SUEZ Quickly Restore Water Supply in Kochi After Major Pipe Break*

Kochi: The Kerala Water Authority (KWA) and SUEZ Projects Private Limited have successfully repaired a major 900-mm-diameter pipeline at Thrikkakara Pipeline Junction within a day, enabling the rapid restoration of water supply to Kochi and neighbouring areas.

The damaged pipeline, which carries water from Aluva to Perumanoor, had disrupted water supply to several localities. SUEZ Projects Private Limited, responsible for carrying out the repair, immediately mobilised its teams and worked in close coordination with KWA to address the emergency. The teams worked round the clock to complete the repair, restore the pipeline and resume water supply at the earliest possible time, thereby minimizing the impact of the disruption on residents.

The swift response also helped prevent further water loss and minimize potential safety risks at the site. The coordinated efforts of KWA and SUEZ demonstrate their commitment to responding promptly to water-supply emergencies and ensuring reliable and uninterrupted services to the community.
