Legal Luminaries Light the Way as Heritage Law College Begins CONCORD 2025 

Kolkata: Heritage Law College successfully organized the inaugural session of CONCORD 2025, the Students’ Induction Programme for the 11th Batch of the B.A. LL.B. Programme (2025–2030), on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Swami Vivekananda Auditorium.

The event was graced by Hon’ble Justice Indira Banerjee, Former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, as the Chief Guest. In her inspiring address, she highlighted the nobility of the legal profession and urged future lawyers to uphold constitutional values, reason, and ethical practice in their journey ahead.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Shri Jayanta Mitra, Ld. Senior Advocate and Former Advocate General of West Bengal. He motivated the students to commit themselves to lifelong learning, analytical thinking, and uncompromising integrity in legal service.

The programme also witnessed the presence of distinguished Guests of Honour – Mr. Amitava Mitra (Partner, Sinha & Co.) and Mr. Subhojit Roy (Partner, Victor Moses & Co.), who shared valuable insights on the evolving legal ecosystem, courtroom experience, and professional avenues awaiting the students.

Welcoming the 11th incoming batch, Principal of the Institution, Prof. S.S.Chatterji, emphasized Heritage Law College’s commitment to academic excellence, industry readiness, and character building. The session was also addressed by Mr.Probir Roy, Director, Heritage, Mr. P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage and Prof. Basab Chaudhuri, Senior Director- Education, Heritage. “CONCORD 2025 aims to provide students with guidance, academic orientation, and interaction with eminent members of the legal fraternity as they begin their journey into legal education” said Mr. P.K.Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions.

The inaugural session concluded with an interactive session and vote of thanks, marking a memorable start to the new academic year.
