Lodiram Heraka Kelumki inaugurated at Haflong

Haflong  : Srikrishna Bhideji, Ketriya Sangathan Mantri Uttar Prbanchal, Akhil Bharatiya Kalyan Ashram along with Tinkupau( village priest) inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Lodiram Heraka Kelumki’ (Temple or prayer hall) at Lodiram, Haflong ceremonially with day long programme on Thursday.

The day’s programme was started with Sunrise prayer, lighting at Kelumki, individual prayer, inaugural speech by Village elder and was followed by congregational prayer.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Srikrishna Bhideji, Ketriya Sangathan Mantri Uttar Prbanchal, Akhil Bharatiya Kalyan Ashram as chief guest, while Sri Yugendra Singji, Asstt. Organising Secretary South Assam, Vidya Bharati, Sri Ramananda Sharma, Ketriya Seva Pramukh, VHP, Assam and Sri Dinesh Tiwari, Bibhag Pracharak, RSS & Prantiya Seva Pramukh, Assam were present as guest of honour.

In this connection a well attended meeting was also held at the ‘Paiki’ wherein all most all the villagers and donors were present.

In this meeting all the speakers while appreciating the endeavour of the villagers of Lodiram towards the construction of Kelumki stressed importance of establishing religious centres for religious awareness. They also said let Lodiram Heraka Kelumki be the inspiration to all others. This religious centre would definitely help building a healthy society.

All the donors were felicitated with a certificate of appreciation along with a traditional shawal by the Lodiram Heraka Kelumki construction committee.

The ‘Lodiram Heraka Kelumki’ constructed with the spontaneous donation and contribution of the people living at Lodi and other places.
