Justdial Limited, India’s No. 1 local search engine, has reported a sharp rise in searches related to LPG and allied services across the country. The trend is based on an analysis comparing search volumes between 28 February–5 March 2026 and 6 March–11 March 2026. The data highlights a notable surge in LPG-related services across key urban markets.
At a national level, searches for LPG and allied services increased to 3.5 times during the period under review, reflecting heightened demand for information on LPG availability, distribution, and related services.
Among major cities, Delhi recorded the highest spike, with searches rising to approximately six times compared to the base period. Mumbai followed with reaching a fourfold amount in search activity. Meanwhile, Bengaluru and Chennai also recorded significant growth, with searches rising to nearly three times during the comparison period.
The surge in search activity highlights growing reliance on digital local search platforms to access timely information on essential household services, including LPG supply and related support services.
