Mahavir Hospital’s ‘Mindful Morning’ wins Gold at E4M – Sustainable Marketing for Healthcare

On World Environment Day 2025, Mahavir Hospital & Research Centre turned an everyday morning ritual into a moment of environmental awareness with ‘Mindful Morning’—an initiative that encouraged people to make a simple, more sustainable choice: switching from a plastic toothbrush to a bamboo one.

And the  idea has earned Gold at E4M – Sustainable Marketing for Healthcare.

The thought behind the campaign was simple: A healthy smile deserves a healthy planet. A healthy smile deserves a healthy planet.

With over 23 billion plastic toothbrushes discarded globally every year, a routine as ordinary as brushing your teeth presents an opportunity to rethink our everyday choices.

The Dental Department at Mahavir Hospital, Masab Tank, brought this thought to life by distributing eco-friendly bamboo toothbrushes along with informative leaflets to patients, visitors and staff—turning awareness into an action that could begin the very next morning.

What made Mindful Morning meaningful was its simplicity. It connected oral health with environmental responsibility, showing that sustainability doesn’t always require a dramatic change. Sometimes, it begins with one small decision repeated every day.

The campaign reflects Mahavir Hospital’s larger commitment to responsible healthcare—caring not just for patients, but for the communities they belong to and the environment they live in.

Conceptualised and developed in collaboration with Tempest Advertising, the campaign demonstrates how a relevant insight, a simple idea and purposeful communication can create an impact worthy of recognition.
