Jaipur/Delhi : Manglam Group, one of Rajasthan’s leading real estate developers, has announced the signing of a Sheraton Hotel with Marriott International in Jaipur. The project, which will feature 220 keys, is being developed with an investment of approximately ₹350 crore across more than 3 lakh sq. ft. on the Jaipur–Ajmer Highway. It marks the Group’s third collaboration with Marriott International and forms part of Manglam’s broader ₹1,000 crore hospitality investment roadmap.
The agreement was formally signed by Ms. Amrita Gupta, Director of Manglam Group and CEO of Manglam Spa and Resorts, and Mr. Rajeev Menon, President, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China), Marriott International, in the presence of Mr. David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, Marriott International, and Mr. N. K. Gupta, Founder and Chairman, Manglam Group. Mr. Marriott travelled to Jaipur with senior members of Marriott’s global and regional leadership team, and the delegation was welcomed with a specially curated programme celebrating the city’s culture and heritage, featuring traditional Rajasthani performances and artisan showcases.
Located on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway (NH-48), the hotel is positioned within one of Jaipur’s fastest-growing corridors, connecting the city with key destinations including Ajmer, Pushkar and Kishangarh while offering convenient access to Jaipur International Airport. The location also benefits from proximity to Mahindra World City SEZ, a major business and industrial hub that continues to drive corporate travel and MICE demand. Combined with the corridor’s growing residential and commercial ecosystem, these factors are making Ajmer Road an increasingly attractive destination for premium hospitality development.
Among Marriott International’s portfolio of brands, Sheraton is particularly known for bringing people together through celebrations, gatherings and shared experiences. As Jaipur continues to strengthen its position as one of India’s leading destinations for weddings, events and leisure travel, the brand is a natural fit for the market. The partnership combines Sheraton’s global hospitality expertise with Manglam’s vision of creating destination-led hospitality experiences that showcase the best of Rajasthan.
The Sheraton Hotel is being envisioned as a luxury box hotel that combines premium accommodation with contemporary hospitality experiences. Inspired by Jaipur’s rich cultural heritage, artistic traditions and vibrant character, the hotel will feature thoughtfully curated interiors and guest experiences that reflect the essence of Rajasthan while delivering Sheraton’s globally recognised hospitality standards.
Ms. Amrita Gupta, Director of Manglam Group and CEO of Manglam Spa and Resorts, “Jaipur is no longer simply a place the world visits. It is becoming the place the world chooses for its most important moments, from weddings to business. At Manglam, our vision has always been to create hospitality that carries the soul of Rajasthan onto a global stage, and the Sheraton Hotel sits at the very heart of that ambition. Sheraton is a name families across India have trusted with their biggest celebrations for generations, and to bring it to Ajmer Road is to offer that legacy in the heart of the country’s wedding capital. Through this hotel, we hope to do far more than host guests. We want to carry Jaipur’s culture, craft and warmth to the world, and to place this city firmly on the global map for celebration, leisure and business alike.”
Speaking at the event, Mr. David Marriott, Chairman of the Board, Marriott International said, “My grandparents founded Marriott on the belief that taking care of associates leads to better guest experiences, and ultimately long-term success. Over the years, we have also learned that meaningful growth is built on strong partnerships and shared values. We are pleased to collaborate with Manglam Group on Sheraton Hotel and look forward to bringing together Sheraton’s globally recognised hospitality standards and Manglam’s vision for creating exceptional hospitality experiences in Rajasthan.”
With the Westin Jaipur on Delhi Road to the north, Fern by Marriott in Jagatpura near the airport, and now the Sheraton on Ajmer Road to the west, Manglam is steadily building a hospitality presence across Jaipur’s key growth corridors. Together, these developments reflect the Group’s long-term vision of aligning with the city’s expanding urban footprint while strengthening its position as a leading destination for weddings, leisure travel, business tourism and large-format events.
