SINGAPORE / NEW DELHI — Meta has announced the appointment of Ravi Garg as Managing Director, Enterprise Business for Asia-Pacific (APAC). In his expanded leadership role, Garg will oversee Meta’s enterprise strategies across the region, focusing on accelerating digital transformation for enterprise clients through AI-powered solutions and messaging platforms.
Prior to this elevation, Garg spent over five years driving Meta’s business operations in India, serving as Country Director – Business Messaging & Payments at WhatsApp from July 2021 through September 2026. During his tenure, he built WhatsApp’s commercial ecosystem and payment capabilities in India from the ground up, establishing it as a critical enterprise channel for brands.
In his new capacity, Garg’s mandate includes expanding Meta’s enterprise footrpint across APAC as organizations rapidly integrate artificial intelligence to transform consumer engagement and modern operational workflows. His remit will focus on driving regional adoption of Meta’s enterprise portfolio, including business messaging channels, Meta Business Agents, and Muse APIs.
Garg brings more than two decades of industry leadership experience to the position. Before joining Meta, he spent 13 years in senior leadership roles at Microsoft across sales, strategy, business planning, and channel management. His background also includes executive roles as Chief Operating Officer at Nazara Technologies and General Management at Sify.
