Chennai : Mindgrove Technologies has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Prama India Private Limited to deploy indigenously designed chips in CCTV surveillance cameras and advanced video security systems. One of the largest commercial integrations of Indian-designed silicon to date, the collaboration marks Mindgrove’s step forward in large-scale commercialization, taking domestic semiconductor innovation from laboratory validation to real-world, high-volume deployment in mission-critical infrastructure.
Under the agreement, Prama will integrate Mindgrove’s proprietary Vision SoC (its second chip), funded under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (Meity) Design Linked Incentive scheme across its video surveillance and security product portfolio. The partnership also includes joint design and development, with Mindgrove providing certification and regulatory support to ensure products meet stringent customer, deployment, and compliance requirements across markets.
