New Delhi: The Ministry of Ayush has marked significant strides in administrative reform and workplace hygiene through its participation in Special Campaign 5.0, running from October 2 to October 31, 2025. Aligned with the Government of India’s ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ and ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance’ initiatives, the campaign emphasized streamlined processes, enhanced record management, sustained cleanliness, and swift public grievance resolution across all Ayush institutions nationwide.
In a month-long push for transparency and efficiency, the Ministry resolved 658 public grievances and 59 grievance appeals. It also addressed 2 references from Members of Parliament, demonstrating responsive governance. On the cleanliness front, 68 targeted campaigns were executed in Ayush establishments, while 101 obsolete files were weeded out to bolster record management and reduce bureaucratic clutter.
Resource optimization was a key highlight: scrap disposal activities freed up 1,365 square feet of office space and generated ₹7,35,500 in revenue. These outcomes highlight the Ministry’s commitment to fiscal prudence and operational streamlining.
Building on the momentum from previous campaigns, Special Campaign 5.0 saw enthusiastic involvement from officers, staff, and the broader Ayush community. Cleanliness and awareness drives were organized in herbal gardens, community spaces, and public areas. Senior officials took the lead at Ayush Bhawan and other flagship institutions, fostering a sense of collective responsibility and civic awareness.
“The campaign reinforces our dedication to a cleaner, more efficient administrative framework that prioritizes citizens,” a Ministry spokesperson stated. “By embedding these practices, we are creating a transparent and accountable ecosystem for traditional healthcare systems.”
The Ministry of Ayush’s efforts under Special Campaign 5.0 not only elevate internal standards but also contribute to a citizen-centric governance model, setting a benchmark for other departments. As the campaign concludes, these achievements pave the way for ongoing improvements in India’s Ayush sector.
