This Oktoberfest, Common House is bringing the streets of Munich to Karjat & Bandra, with a distinctly Mumbai spin. Known for their fresh small-batch brews, flatbreads and easy-going bar food, Common House is taking the best bits of the German beer festival and giving them a very Mumbai spin. Think cold pints, loud music, good food and a menu that definitely doesn’t stop at pretzels.
The Oktoberfest specials are where things get interesting. A Tandoori Soya Hot Dog puts an Indian-spiced soya sausage in a classic bun with pickles and tzatziki; the Masala Pretzel gets a hit of chilli, cheese and onions to jazz it up; Chicken Sausage 65 brings tandoori spices, mustard seeds and curry leaves to the table; and the Chorizo Pav takes a curried Goan sausage and puts it where it belongs, in a soft pav with fresh salsa. German classics with Mumbai instincts!
