New Delhi: NDA candidate and Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan will be the new Vice-President of India. He defeated INDIA bloc candidate and former Supreme Court Judge B Sudershan Reddy by a margin of 152 votes.
The voting for Vice Presidential election was held between 10 AM and 5 PM today. Members of both Houses of Parliament cast their votes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was the first among the members who cast his vote.
