NIA takes over investigation of Udaipur murder

New  Delhi: Union Home Ministry has directed the National Investigation Agency to take over the investigation of the brutal murder in  Udaipur. In a tweet, the Ministry said, the involvement of any organisation and international links will be thoroughly investigated.

The National Investigation Agency NIA has registered a case in the incident of a brutal murder in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It has registered a case against the accused who have conspired, planned and committed the heinous murder yesterday.

The case was initially registered in Udaipur by the State Police. The accused persons had circulated a video of the criminal act on social media claiming responsibility for the murder in order to trigger panic and strike terror among the masses across the country. Later, NIA today re-registered the case.

The NIA teams have already reached Udaipur and requisite action for expeditious investigation of the case has already been initiated.

Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur has been termed a mute spectator to the Rajasthan government over the recent incident of a brutal murder in Udaipur. Talking with media in New Delhi, Mr. Thakur said, all limits of vandalism were crossed in Udaipur and the Gehlot government sat just like a mute spectator. He pointed out Chief Minister Kailash Gehlot saying that he always ran away from his responsibilities.

Mr. Thakur stressed that the video of the killers of deceased Kanhaiya had been viral since a week ago, but the Congress government was busy in a mutual tussle.
