New Delhi : Established with a vision to bring about innovation in higher education and learning in emerging areas of the knowledge society, the University of the Future, NIIT University (NU) hosted Camp Future, a unique two-day initiative for students who had recently completed Class XII. The programme offered students and their parents an opportunity to experience campus life, explore various career pathways, and get a first-hand feel of university life before the commencement of college.
Designed as an immersive and interactive experience, Camp Future aimed to help students and their parents make informed decisions while choosing the right university. The initiative gave aspirants a glimpse into life at NU through a day-long campus experience that included interactions with the university leadership team, faculty members from their chosen streams, and senior students. Participants also got the opportunity to stay in the hostel, enjoy meals at the university mess, learn about NU’s unique geo-thermal cooling system, trek across the lush green campus, and witness the iconic Astachal sunset experience.
The first edition of Camp Future this year was organised on 25 and 26 April 2026 at the NU campus. More than 200 students and their parents participated in the two-day event at the Neemrana campus. The next edition is slated for the second week of May 2026. Students who attended Camp Future have already secured early admissions across various disciplines at NU.
