Police Flag Day observed in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: Commemorating the National Police Commemoration Day or Police Flag Day, a band display and march past was organised by the 7th APBn Charaikhola and Superintendent of Police, Kokrajhar in Kokrajhar town today.

Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Bhaskar Phukan flagged off the programme in presence of Kokrajhar Superintendent of Police Rakesh Roushan and Commanding officer of 7th APBn Charaikhola MM Boro. The band display and march past started from Assam Oil police point to BTC Secretariat ground.

The National Police Commemoration Day or Police Flag Day is observed remembering the brave policemen who sacrificed their lives while discharging their duties.

In his speech, Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner Bhaskar Phukan lauded the police personnel for performing their duties with utmost diligence. He said we must salute our police forces, their families and remember with pride those brave police personnel martyred in the line of duty.

Integrity pledge was also taken by Kokrajhar Police at the Office of Superintendent Of Police, Kokrajhar in connection with Vigilance Awareness Week with the theme Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat(Vigilent India, Prosperous India) under SP Kokrajhar Rakesh Roushan.
