Political parties further intensify campaign for Assembly elections in Telangana and Rajasthan

Political parties have further intensified their campaign for Assembly elections in Rajasthan and Telangana. Both the states will go to the polls on Friday.

In Rajasthan, Top leaders of different political parties are holding public meetings to woo the voters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address an election rally in Jodhpur today. BJP President Amit Shah, party leader Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Congress leaders Gulam Nabi Azad, Navjot Singh Sidhdhu and actress Amisha Patel are among the top campaigners for political parties. BSP Chief Mayawati also will campaign at some places today.

“Both BJP and Congress have given full power to the election campaign to create an atmosphere in their favor. BJP President Amit Shah is to address four Public meetings today at various places in the state. Senior BJP leaders Vasundhara Raje, Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, Om Mathur, Yogi Adityanath and Smriti Irani are also campaigning for the party today.

In Congress, Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot are holding Five to Six election rallies every day at various places in the state. Senior Party leader Ahmad Patel, Jyotiraditya Sindhiya, Navjot Singh Sidhdhu, Randeep Surjewala and Abhishek Manu Singhvi are also campaigning for Congress. The Congress president Rahul Gandhi will tour the state tomorrow.

Electioneering in Telangana is gaining further momentum two days ahead of its scheduled closure with top leaders arriving at various places to garner support for their respective party candidates.

All arrangements have been made at the LB Stadium in Hyderabad for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s second and last leg of campaigning in Telangana. He will address a public meeting this evening.

Congress President Rahul Gandhi will address election rallies at Gadwal and Tandur today. TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao will be campaigning in Sathupalli, Madhira, Kodad, Huzurnagara, Miryalguda and Nalgonda constituencies today.
