The Head Scientist in the Epidemiology and Communicable Diseases Division of ICMR Dr Raman R Gangakhedkar has said that the only way to reduce the number of covid infections is by taking all necessary precautions. He said that people should not be afraid of testing for the infection. Dr Gangakhedkar also said that lack of testing can deprive patients of necessary medication.
