Pune-born Los Angeles Jazz Guitarist Varad Sahasrabudhe Brings ‘Flux Theory’ to Mumbai

Pune-born, Los Angeles-based guitarist and composer Varad Sahasrabudhe will present his acclaimed project Flux Theory at Bluebop Cafe, Mumbai, bringing together an ensemble of some of India’s most respected jazz musicians for an evening of contemporary jazz and improvisation.

Inspired by the philosophy of Heraclitus, Flux Theory is a reflection on constant evolution, movement, and transformation. Through original compositions, the project explores how music changes alongside emotion, perspective, and lived experiences, blending jazz, experimental sounds, and diverse cultural influences.

For the Mumbai performance, Varad will be joined by vocalist Maya Berezina, leading jazz pianist Rahul Wadhwani, bassist Shashank Das, and acclaimed drummer Gino Banks, one of India’s most respected percussionists who has collaborated with artists including Zakir Hussain, Hariprasad Chaurasia, A.R. Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan, Pritam, and Vishal-Shekhar.
