Rain intensity has reduced across Gujarat, bringing relief after heavy rainfall. Light to moderate showers continued in some parts of South Gujarat, North Gujarat, and Saurashtra.
So far, the state has received over 52% of its seasonal average rainfall, significantly improving water storage levels across key reservoirs. The Sardar Sarovar Narmada Dam is currently at nearly 69% of its capacity, while 14 out of 206 state reservoirs have reached full capacity.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places in North and Central Gujarat tomorrow.
