Rakul Preet Singh is the face of Wacoal lingerie in India

Mumbai : Wacoal, Japan’s leading premium lingerie brand, welcomes Rakul Preet Singh as its new brand ambassador in India, marking a new chapter for the brand and its expression of beauty in the country. Bringing together Wacoal’s heritage of Japanese craftsmanship with Rakul’s effortless style and sensibility, the association reflects a shared appreciation for beauty as an expression of confidence, individuality and self-evolution.

The partnership debuts with ‘In Pursuit of Beauty’, Wacoal India’s Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, with Rakul at its centre. The campaign explores the pursuit of beauty as an evolving expression of self shaped by discovery, refinement and the confidence to embrace one’s individuality.

For Rakul, this sentiment finds a natural resonance. Known for her versatility, discipline and distinctive sense of style, she brings an effortless confidence to the campaign, reflecting the modern woman who embraces her individuality while continuing to evolve.

Through ‘In Pursuit of Beauty’, Rakul becomes the face of Wacoal’s vision of contemporary femininity, where exquisite design meets considered fit, comfort and the confidence of feeling entirely at ease in what you wear.

The campaign film captures Rakul through a series of expressive moments, reflecting different facets of her pursuit of beauty and self-expression. These moments are interwoven with glimpses of Wacoal’s meticulous craftsmanship, creating a visual dialogue between personal expression and the artistry behind every Wacoal creation.

The campaign brings together fashion, movement and Japanese craftsmanship to present Wacoal’s AW ’26 collection through a distinctly contemporary lens.

The AW’26 Collection

The campaign brings four Wacoal signatures into focus, each offering a distinct expression of the brand’s approach to fit, comfort and design:

●            Iris: A statement silhouette featuring gel push-up lift, designed to enhance shape while offering confidence and support.

●            Basic Mold: A clean, moulded everyday essential designed to create a smooth silhouette and sit seamlessly under clothing.

●            Embrace: Delicate lace panels thoughtfully crafted to bring together femininity, softness and support.

●            Cool Comfort: Seamless, bonded construction designed to offer a smooth, lightweight feel under clothing, making it ideal for everyday and active lifestyles.

Together, the collection reflects Wacoal’s distinctive approach to lingerie, where thoughtful design, Japanese craftsmanship and considered fit come together to create pieces that feel as beautiful as they look.

Speaking on the association, Pooja Merani, COO, Wacoal India, said: “At Wacoal, beauty is an ongoing pursuit, expressed through the harmony of thoughtful design, refined craftsmanship and exceptional fit. Rakul embodies this philosophy through her own approach to her craft with grace, discipline and an innate sense of individuality. Her ability to continually evolve while remaining authentic to herself makes her a natural fit for Wacoal. We are delighted to welcome her to the Wacoal family and bring the philosophy of ‘In Pursuit of Beauty’ to life through this association.”

Rakul Preet Singh added: added, “I’ve always believed that the best version of you is the one you’re still working on.  Wacoal approaches lingerie the same way, with so much thought and care going into every detail. When something fits you that well, you stop thinking about it and just get on with your day. I’m thrilled to be part of the Wacoal family.”
