Guwahati : Dr Navnil Baruah, a senior doctor at GNRC hospitals in Guwahati, Assam, has denied allegations of trying to save Rajkanya Barua by giving her ‘fake’ medical report and admitting her to the ICU of the hospital. Dr. Navnil Barua was summoned to Dispur police station in connection with a state liquor addiction and hit case for allegedly giving a ‘fake’ medical report.In Guwahati, the Chief Judicial Magistrates Court refused bail to Rajkanya Barua hon. It may be recalled that on the night of October 1, former Miss India finalist Rajkanya Barua had hit 9 PWD workers with her vehicle in Rukmini Gaon area of Guwahati. A passerby was also seriously injured in the accident and both his legs were broken. He was arrested by the Dispur police but was granted bail within a day, which led to severe criticism from Assam police on social media.
