Guwahati : A total of six youths allegedly attacked two officials of Guwahati Traffic Police Department in Panbazar area of the city. Police later arrested all the six youths after an FIR was lodged against the youths for the crime. According to panbazar police report The incident took place late in the night when two traffic police officials stopped a youth who was speeding. The youth later returned to the spot along with five other accomplices and thrashed two traffic policemen. The policemen who were attacked have been identified as Ritupan Saikia of Panbazar Traffic Police and Utpal Gohen of Latasil Traffic Police. According to reports, one of the youths is the son of a policeman from Panbazar police station in Guwahati.
