New Delhi: In a spirited initiative aligning with the Government of India’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision, Smiling Tree, founded by renowned environmentalist Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, collaborated with Hansraj College, University of Delhi, for a green outreach program at PM Shri Composite School, Aata, Baniyakhera, Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh.
The green drive witnessed the enthusiastic participation of about 35 students, guided by Prof. Jnaneshwari Malik and Prof. Prabhanshu Ojha, who traveled to Village Aata in Sambhal District to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
As part of this initiative, scores of Plumeria plants were planted within the school premises by the Smiling Tree team along with the visiting students and faculty. These vibrant, fragrant trees are symbolic of resilience and growth, echoing the spirit of Viksit Bharat @2047—a national resolve to build a self-reliant, inclusive, and ecologically balanced India by its 100th year of independence.
Dr. Mukesh Kwatra, Founder of Smiling Tree, shared his thoughts :
