SUMEET SSG Partners with Spencer India to Equip MEMS 108 Fleet with World-Class Emergency Medical Technology

Mumbai, Maharashtra : In a concerted effort towards elevating emergency medical response standards in India, SUMEET SSG today announced a strategic partnership with Spencer India, part of Spencer Italia S.r.l, Europe’s leading manufacturer of advanced emergency medical equipment. Through this collaboration, 1,756 Maharashtra Emergency Medical Services (MEMS 108) ambulances will be equipped with globally certified stretchers, evacuation systems, immobilization devices, and critical rescue equipment.

The partnership will be executed over a multi-year period, with phased deployment beginning soon, positioning MEMS 108 among the first state-wide Emergency Medical Services (EMS) networks in India to adopt a fully European-standard pre-hospital care ecosystem at scale.

Under this partnership, SUMEET SSG will integrate a comprehensive suite of Spencer’s advanced emergency medical solutions, including:

•           Specialized patient-handling equipment such as advanced stretchers, scoop stretchers and transport chairs

•           Neck and spine immobilization systems designed for trauma care

•           Patented rescue and evacuation systems

•           Oxygen delivery systems for critical care scenarios

•           PPE kits engineered for rapid, safe and ergonomic emergency response

These solutions are designed to enhance operational efficiency, improve patient outcomes and support frontline emergency responders with globally benchmarked tools.
