Mumbai : Target Learning Ventures Pvt Ltd, a leading publishing house organised a screening of inspiring film Raja Shivaji at Goregaon for over 170 women and children from Bhakar Foundation.
The initiative was initiated by Agasti Lawand, Director of Target Learning Ventures, Adv. Deepak Sonavane and social activist Sachin Bansode from Bhakar Foundation. For several women and children, this was their first-ever experience inside a cinema hall. Many children watched the large screen with curiosity and excitement, while several women were visibly emotional during impactful moments in the film. The initiative became a celebration of togetherness, shared joy, and social harmony.
The history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj continues to inspire people with values of courage, dignity, equality, and respect for all communities. The event reflected those very ideals by creating a space where people from different backgrounds could come together and celebrate a common cultural experience.
Speaking about the initiative, Agasti Lavand said, “Cinema has the power to inspire and unite people. Through this screening, we wanted women and children from every background to experience not only entertainment but also the inspiring legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”
Social activist Sachin Bansode added, “The smiles and emotions we witnessed today made this initiative truly meaningful. When people from different communities come together with happiness and mutual respect, it strengthens the sense of unity in our society.”
